Hi, I know that connecting a 360 to hdtv is best but I don't have that much money. But am thinking of connecting it to a 17 inch Samsung Magic Bright crt monitor. Will it be better than connecting to an sdtv.If yes what resolution should I keep it on.
I do have money to buy an lcd monitor .Will connecting the 360 to a 19 inch lcd monitor give me better resolution and picture than crt???. Will the difference be worth 9000 rs.?? And 1 last thing why is hdtv considered the best option? .Thank you

The CRT monitor will probably give you a higher resolution than the LCD (check the specs.).
You will be able to use any of the following resolutions with teh xbox 360 VGA cable (providing your lCD or CRT is capable of displaying at that resolution):
640×480
848×480
1024×768
1280×720 (720p)
1280×768
1280×1024
1360×768
Check the refresh rate of the LCD (usually not as good as a CRT), if it’s too slow then the picture may blur when there’s a lot of fast action on-screen. 8ms or less should be good enough though.
