HD is anything that can display a 720 line image at a 16 by 9 aspect ratio.
So that is anything with a resolution greater than 1280 by 720.
Since your resolution is 1280 by 1024, yes it is officially HD compatible.
Get the HD content onto your PC, then display it on the monitor. Without you saying what sort of HD content you want to display there are just too many options to list.
call the people that made your set and tell them what's going on with your set.

Pplu wonders why programs run more slowly when the system is running with multiple monitors. Well, for one thing, of course, when you have more than one monitor, there’s more stuff on the screen for the system to keep track of. It’s the same reason that programs run more slowly on a large monitor than on a small monitor. And if there’s only one monitor, then functions like MonitorFromPoint become trivial if the flag is something like MONITOR_DEFAULTTONEAREST, because when there’s only one monitor, answering questions like “What monitor is closest to this point”? becomes very easy. If your two monitors are not the same dimensions, then the union of the two monitors will not be rectangular, which makes clipping against the union of all monitors more complicated. But I suspect the big penalty for multiple monitors kicks in if you make the mistake of setting your monitors to different color formats, for example, if you set one monitor to 565 format and set another to 24bpp. If the two…

“Alan Wake has nothing to do with piracy. It’s an Xbox exclusive because MS wants more people to buy their console (where they make money with every game sold – even if from other publishers). Also… most games more than cover the cost of a PC version. If you develop for 2 or 3 platforms then the cost of adding another is much less than the cost for the development of the whole game.”

You can buy a Wireless card at same place where you buy the wireless Router(circuit city, best buy, online, etc) Setting up a wireless connection is a pain in the butt or at least it was for me.
One thing that i have done in the past was "de frag" my computer. It takes all of your files and it compresses them. You also might have a minor virus, or some malware that is slowing down your computer.
As I understand it, the reason a CRT isn't good for your eyes is that it's not actually a glowing light source. A CRT monitor only actually lights up one pixel at a time on your screen. It just lights them all up so quickly that your eye cannot see that only one pixel is lit at one time. Most CRT monitors light up each pixel more than 60 times each second. It's this "pulsating" light that's bad for your eyes.
Most LCD laptops use a "cold cathode fluorescent lamp" (CCFL) as a light source. Unlike with CRTs, an LCD actually lights all the pixels on the screen at once (using the CCFL). This kind of light is similar to the fluorescent lights you find in offices or in CFL bulbs. So it shouldn't be any worse for your eyes.
Furthermore, the most modern LCD screens (like the one in the MacBook Pro I'm writing this on) use LED light sources [2] instead of CCFLs. LED lights are like those you find in the indicator lights on your computer. Or possibly in the display on your car stereo. LEDs are smaller, more durable, and last longer than CCFLs, so they'll probably end up taking over entirely for CCFLs in LCD screens in the not-too-distant future. Obviously these are not bad for your eyes either.
Note that I'm not an optometrist, I'm a computer geek. You should consult an optometrist if you are concerned about the effect your laptop screen might be having on your eyes.
i didn’t know ViewSonic made netbooks, I have one of their older CRT 23 inch monitors, resolution 1600 by 1200 pixels. Interesting.
What do you think of my ViewSonic VG2030wm (Black, Silver) LCD Monitor solution on FixYa? Please rate!
The only way would be to download a program or buy software because its not possible to do so straight from windows as this feature is not available.
You can get one for free illegally or just buy one.
There are such things available, I remember my teacher used to monitor our work in computer lab.

there is nothing professional about Viewsonic..they are cheaper than higher quality monitors for a reason. I recently replaced mine w/ a Dell Monitor – which is actually an LG monitor and has been WONDERFUL! I've always had color issues w/ my VS, and it was not very versatile….
If you have had your VS for a few years, I would consider getting a new one. And not a VS!
