What is a good resolution for my 17 inch crt monitor?

I have a HP MX703 monitor and I am just wondering, what is a good resolution for this monitor?
Here are my PC specs if needed.
Hp 304w
am37 1.67ghz amd athlon xp2000+ cpu and motherboard
Nvidia Geforce 6200 512mb AGP Graphics Card.
Please Help if you know.

According to the HP website, your monitor’s maximum resolution is 1280×1024.
1280×1024 is the resolution you want, good sir.
1280×1024 @ 60 Hz is your monitor’s maximum resolution. That would probably work well.
Alternately, you can sacrifice some resolution for a higher refresh rate (anti-flicker) and set it to 1152×864 @ 75 Hz, or 1024×768 @ 85 Hz. One great thing about CRT monitors is that they can multisync, and display multiple resolutions and refresh rates with no problem.
