Are you sure it is your OS that is making it go into sleep mode? Most physical monitors themselves have their own built-in "hardware" sleep mode, to go along with getting that EPA seal of approval.
If it is the monitor itself going to sleep you may or may not be able to change that in the monitor's control panel. This varies widely by manufacturer, so you'll just have to play with the menus to find the setting. On some, there is no way to make it stop doing it, so be forewarned…
One easy way to tell if it is your OS or your actual monitor is to boot your PC into the BIOS screen and walk away. If the monitor is in sleep mode a little while later, then it's your monitor and not Windows. I've had machines in BIOS screen mode for days and AFAIK no bios screen has a sleep mode for the video output.

You may have to update your "display" driver if the problem continues. This may or may not be a "bad" connection problem. There's something else you can try. You won't be able to see what's happening on the screen because it's all blacked out, but there is something going on, you just gotta believe! Press the Windows Key + R. This brings up the Run Command. You can't see it, but it's there. Type cmd. This opens the command prompt. Now hit Alt + Enter. This puts the screen into "text only" mode. This will reset your screen so you can see it. Now type "Exit" to leave the command prompt, and you should be back to normal. If this doesn't work the first time, run through it 2 or 3 times before you give up and call the "Geek Squad". Good luck!

if you are planning on lowering it, then the wheels will probably rub the arches. 17" is really to big for a clio. 16" is a better size. will handle so much better.

It is usually on the back, but sometimes they are on the front. Usually it is colored light green. It could have either a headphone symbol or a music note with an arrow pointing away from it. Don't be fooled by the headphone jack on the CD drive; those never work.

Asian Arowana are similar in temperment and tanks mates as Jardini. Unless you are specifically teaching your Arowana to eat other fish, most any mid level and bottom feeders are compatible. I happen to keep several species of Cories, Botia's and even my African cichlids with my Malaysian Golden Jardini. Sorry I don't have a Golden like you, Asian Arowana are illegal to own in the USA so I can't say exactly.
I also have a few groups of Platties and Tetra's with mine. I never gave my Arowana a chance to eat things it shouldn't. I've got my Jardini doing quite well on bloodworms. I bring this point up as I'm sure you'll get some uneducated or inexperienced responses about how you cannot keep smaller fish with an Arowana. It's a load of crock as you can, and I've got several clips of my Jardini and South Americans, when I kept those to prove it.
You need to first uninstall your monitor drivers. Right click on My Computer, choose properties, click on the Hardware Tab, and then choose device Manager. After that look for the monitor category click the plus sign and right click to uninstall everyone listed under the plus sign that is now a minus sign.
Sure they, are power capacitors (pronounced ka-pass-a-tor) See above reply for details on how and where to replace them. I am told that the bad ones are mostly caused by a case of industrial espionage where one Chinese company leaked a “fake” formula for the chemicals used to make these parts. The “fake” fomula contained damaging chemicals that eventually destroy the capacitor!! Hence, any company that copied the bad ingredients ended up with junk parts!
Swap monitors with a buddy. If yours is dead I'd go for a new one with a 3 year warranty. LCD prices have gone WAY down in the last couple years.
