that depends, does your monitor have VGA and/or DVI ports? does your video card have them? they need to be the same kind of port on both ends of the cable, because VGA and DVI use drastically different signals to transmit the data (analog vs digital) this may help you out though

Is that moniter 1080p?
Being a flat screen you shouldn't have to, that degaussing was for tube type monitors. My guess is that there is something else wrong. What is it doing?

LCDs don't have a lot of options when it comes to refresh rates. You may want to hit the windows key in middle of game and change your refresh rate and see which works best. Make sure you have the latest video drivers and try lower resolutions. Your monitor is not a gaming monitor with a slow response rate in the 20ms range. Gaming works best with monitors with response times of 8ms or less.

Yes is does with the size and the specs of it ….it makes a great moniter just make sure your video card in your computer can go up to 1920×1200 or 1920×1080

The ipod touch is higher quality and is more computer monitor like compared to the semi square pixelated samsun jets. As for a phone you can use it with skype or fring (VOIP) but you need to buy a microphone ($1 on ebay) and the stereo speaker is more of a music player device. Unfortunately, no.
The Samsung SyncMaster 913V came out before HDCP became widespread. The DVI port on that monitor is not HDCP-compliant.
